Week 1 (3 July): AI Foundations
Complete your foundational Cybersecurity, Data Protection, AI Literacy module (public officers only) on LEARN, if not already done

Take OpenAI Academy's AI Foundations Course for an introduction to AI and using ChatGPT.
Week 2 (10 July): Introduction to AI First / ChatGPT Foundations
[Webinar] Introduction to AI First (1.5hrs) 10am - 11:30am
Learn how everyday officers with no coding background can use AI to solve problems and reimagine their work.
Attend together as a team where possible. Post webinar, debrief as a team on what stood out on product thinking, vibecoding and building AI assisted workflows with ChatGPT enterprise.

Week 3 (16/17 July): Introduction to AI & AI Tools

Includes live demonstrations of file uploads, document drafting, prompting techniques, data analysis, and search.

It covers safe handling of inputs/outputs, data security requirements, and accountability when using tools like ChatGPT and Copilot.

Learn how to use AI responsibly by protecting sensitive information, validating AI-generated outputs, applying Public Service values, and making informed decisions about AI use in your daily work.

Follow the exercises in the guides and use AI to help complete one domain specific workflow.

Week 9 (28 Aug): Apply AI to Your Workflows
💡Individual Exercise: Workflow Mapping
Pick one recurring task in your job (e.g., weekly report, meeting notes, research brief) and analyse it through an AI lens.
Step 1: Map it — Which steps can AI help with? Which require human judgment?
Step 2: Try it — Try one step with AI and note the impact or outcome (e.g., time saved, quality of output).
👥 Peer Sharing: What Has Worked?
Gather with your team to compare notes and scale what works.
Share — Share with your team the specific workflow you just mapped and improved with AI.
Identify — As a team, identify 2 to 3 use cases that are worth scaling across the entire unit.
Nominate — Select one standout use case to share with your Champions for AI Transformation (CAT) or your agency's AI champions.

Week 10 (4 Sep): Develop your AI Workflow
Complete Open AI's Applied AI Foundations Course
Follow the guided exercises in the course to fully develop a workflow from your recurring task.
Week 11 (11 Sep): Your AI Playbook
Your AI Playbook (coming soon)
List how you use AI in your various work tasks in a guided exercise.
The exercise will provide guidance and tips in more areas for you to consider using AI.
Once complete, the list can be saved as your personal AI playbook for work.
Week 12 (18 Sep): AI Tech Festival: AIgniting Action
Attend AI Tech Festival: AIgniting Action
Listen to keynote addresses from Grab and DBS
Attend hands-on enablement activities at AI Tech Festival
Talk to one person outside your agency about how they have used AI
Note one new thing you will try in the next 30 days
