What CATs Do

CATs learn AI, apply it to real work and bring their colleagues along for the ride.

Transform

CATs tackle real workflow problems in their own agencies, the ones that have been quietly eating everyone's time and rebuild them with AI.

Engage

Run peer sessions, share what's working, and get colleagues genuinely excited about AI, not just told to use it.

Connect

A community that shows up for each other through gatherings, learning journeys, and events. Because figuring this out is better done together.

Hear from our CATs

More recently, as I experimented more, I started applying AI to my daily work, building small solutions using AiBots and Pair assistants, automating tasks, and helping colleagues explore what these tools could do. One operational bot developed (FEDA Bot) saves ~367 hours monthly serving 200 officers.

In my early 60s, I took my first steps into AI by attending courses using Skills Future credits, not quite knowing that it would lead me to an interest in prompt engineering. And then I ventured into Prompt Royale 2025 which opened my eyes to Pair, AI bots, and the AI platforms available to us in the public sector. Through the many online learning sessions made available to public officers, I gradually discovered that Pair could be used to build customized assistants.

I started building: experimenting with vibe coding in the evenings, prototyping webapps, and developing a growing portfolio of AI tools alongside my team. Not because I am an engineer, but because the best way to understand what AI can do for Consular is to build with it.
